Extreme Performance puts my CPU at 4.15 Ghz and its core voltage at 1.4V, therefore the fan is running constantly at 100%. I have next to no experience regarding overclocking but of course I wanted the best performance I could get. But as I found out later Silent Mode actually underclocks the CPU (to 2.8 Ghz) while Extreme Performance Mode overclocks it (to 4.15 Ghz) and Balanced disables Turboclock. Now this is my first time using Dragon Center (and an MSI product in general) so I thought the 3 different modes in Dragon Center (Silent, Balanced and Extreme Performance) were just to cycle through power plan settings. ![]() I'm using the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max and I've downloaded MSI Dragon Center so I can easily manage the fans whenever I want to. ![]() Hey there (I aplogize if my questions might sound dumb but I'm a bit puzzled and really would appreciate some help),ΔΆ weeks ago I built myself a new setup, including a Ryzen 5 3600, 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz RAM and a Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Windforce OC 3X 8GB.
